When KGMG Creative director Kelly Griffiths was officially recognised as a Certified Global Wix Studio Web Design Expert, it wasn't just a personal milestone. It was a signal to every regional business we work with across the Macedon Ranges and Central Victoria that the standard of work coming out of our studio is measured against the best in the world.
And that's not something we say lightly.
What the certification actually involves:
This isn't a course you sign up for and complete over a weekend. The Certified Global Wix Studio Web Design Expert credential is awarded by Wix through a rigorous, multi-stage assessment process that tests both technical ability and creative excellence at the highest level.
To achieve certification, Kelly was required to:
• Recreate complex websites from a detailed brief, demonstrating precision and technical proficiency within Wix Studio's advanced development environment.
• Submit a curated portfolio of completed projects hand-selected by Wix to showcase real-world excellence across user experience (UX), design, functionality, innovation and industry best practice.
• Pass advanced development assessments testing deep knowledge of Wix Studio's capabilities, including custom code, responsive design systems and platform-specific tools.
The certification is currently held by fewer than 700 professionals globally, and under 30 in Australia. Kelly is among them -- and one of the very few based in regional Victoria.
