We are based in Woodend in the Macedon Ranges, Victoria, and have been working with businesses across Central Victoria (and beyond) since 2017. We work with clients across the Macedon Ranges, Woodend, Kyneton, Daylesford, Trentham, Castlemaine, Sunbury, Gisborne, Bendigo and beyond.

We started working with clients in October 2017 and have been growing ever since. Over that time, we have worked with more than a thousand businesses, organisations and community groups across the region, built over 600 websites, and been recognised at the Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards multiple times.
We are a full-service creative and digital agency. Our services cover web design and development, social media management, branding and graphic design, photography, videography, copywriting and social media workshops. Everything is produced in-house by our team of five specialists. No outsourcing, no hand-offs.
Absolutely. While we are proudly based in the Macedon Ranges and the region is at the heart of our client work, we also work with businesses across Sunbury, Bendigo, Melbourne and further afield. WEB DESIGN
Website costs vary depending on the size, complexity and features you need. A straightforward service website for a small business is very different to an ecommerce store with a booking system and member portal, or a large business build with multiple locations. We work across a range of budgets and needs and always talk through options honestly at the start. The best way to get an accurate picture is to have a conversation and we will tell you straight what is realistic for what you need.

For a standard small business website, you are typically looking at four to eight weeks from brief to launch. Larger or more complex builds take longer. The biggest factor in timeline is usually content. The sooner we have your copy, images and key information, the faster we can move. We handle content creation in-house if you need that support.
We build primarily on Wix Studio and Shopify, however, we optimise sites on both these platforms and Squarespace. KGMG director, Kelly, has spent the last two decades working with dozens of platforms and takes into account the latest innovation and performance metrics when using a platform.

Yes, and that is important to us. We build every website with the owner in mind, choosing platforms and structures that are genuinely manageable without technical knowledge. We also include one-on-one training as part of every web build so you feel confident using your site from day one. If something comes up down the track, or you need more advanced support, we are always available.
Yes. SEO is built into every website we build: proper page titles, meta descriptions, structured headings, image alt text, site speed optimisation and local search signals. We also offer SEO audits and optimisations for existing websites. We are not an SEO-only agency, but we take search visibility seriously and every site we build is set up to perform.

Absolutely. Not every website needs to be rebuilt from scratch. We offer half and full-day website optimisation sessions for existing Wix, Squarespace and Shopify sites, refreshing content, fixing structure, improving mobile performance and sharpening SEO. It is often the fastest and most cost-effective way to get better results from a site that is already live.
Yes. For new businesses and start-ups especially, we help with everything from domain registration and hosting through to Google Business Profile setup, email configuration and social media profile creation. We can get you properly set up from the start so nothing gets missed.

A local team brings something a city agency or an offshore freelancer simply cannot offer: genuine knowledge of your market, your community and your audience. A social media manager handles everything that goes into running your business accounts consistently and strategically. For KGMG clients, that means building a monthly content calendar, writing captions, creating graphics, sourcing or shooting photography/videography, scheduling posts, monitoring comments and messages, reporting on performance and adjusting strategy based on what is working. It is a full-time job for a business to do well, which is why most businesses that try to manage it themselves find it falls away under the pressure of everything else.

We manage Facebook, Instagram and Google Business Profile as our core offering. These are the platforms that deliver the most value for the majority of regional businesses. We can discuss other platforms based on your specific audience and industry.
Yes. Everything is created in-house. Copy, graphics, photography and video are all produced by our team. No outsourcing, no stock images posing as your business. That is a meaningful difference. It means the content we create is genuinely yours, genuinely local and genuinely on-brand.

Every client gets a monthly content calendar presented for approval before anything is scheduled. You review and sign off on the content, so nothing goes out without your knowledge. We build the system, you stay in control.
Yes. We offer ad hoc support packages for businesses that want to manage their own socials but need a hand with strategy, setup or a one-off content burst. We also run social media workshops if you want to build your own skills and confidence. Not every business needs a full monthly management package and we will tell you honestly if something simpler would suit you better.

We can run Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns for our management clients as a complement to your ongoing social media strategy. Paid ads work best when there is a solid organic foundation already in place. If you are looking for a comprehensive, standalone paid advertising strategy (or are not an ongoing social media client), that is a specialist service we are not currently offering. We will be upfront about pointing you in the right direction.

​Honestly, follower count is the wrong metric to obsess over. What matters is whether the right people are seeing your content and taking action: visiting your website, making a booking, walking through your door. Consistent, high-quality content tailored to your audience grows genuine reach over time. We focus on building audiences that actually convert, not vanity numbers.
Photography and Videography
We cover a wide range: brand and lifestyle photography, commercial and product photography, food and beverage, construction and trades documentation, event coverage, drone shoots, portraits and team photography, and studio shoots. Everything is captured on-location or in our in-house studio, depending on what the project calls for.

Yes. We produce short-form social reels, brand videos, event coverage and hero videos for websites. Like our photography, video is planned, shot and edited in-house by Nic and the team. No outsourcing to a separate production company.

We are based in the Macedon Ranges and regularly shoot across the region and Central Victoria: Woodend, Kyneton, Daylesford, Trentham, Castlemaine, Sunbury, Bendigo and beyond. Travel costs for shoots outside the immediate Macedon Ranges area are discussed upfront.
It depends on the scope and nature of the shoot, which we discuss as part of the briefing process. Every shoot gives you a library of professionally edited images, not a handful of selects. The goal is to give you enough content to use across your website, social media and marketing for months.
Yes, where permitted. Aerial photography and videography is available for showcasing properties, construction projects, events, vineyards and landscapes. We discuss drone availability and any relevant restrictions as part of the shoot brief.

Not at all, and you are definitely not alone in feeling that way. Nic's approach on set is calm, relaxed and collaborative. We take the time to make you feel comfortable before we start shooting, and we keep going until we have images that feel natural and genuinely you. The results speak for themselves.
Branding and Graphic Design
A full brand identity project with KGMG includes a logo suite (primary, secondary and icon variations), colour palette, typography system, supporting graphic elements and a brand guidelines document. The guidelines give you a clear, usable reference so your brand stays consistent across every application: whether it is a business card, a social post or a vehicle wrap.

We focus on complete brand identity projects rather than one-off logo requests. Our process covers more than just a "logo design". A standalone logo without the supporting brand system often causes problems down the track: inconsistent colours, incompatible fonts, visuals that don't work across different applications. We are happy to talk through what you actually need and find the right scope for your situation.

Absolutely. Once your brand is established, we handle everything from social media templates, printed collateral and signage through to packaging and campaign materials. Consistent application of your brand across every touchpoint is something we take seriously.

Yes. Matt leads copywriting across the agency: website copy, social media captions, press releases, email campaigns and marketing materials. Copy is created in-house as part of our full-service packages, however it is not available as a standalone service.
Workshops and Training
Our four-week program covers everything you need to manage your business social media with confidence: content strategy and visual planning, scheduling and platform management, engagement and community growth, and insights. By the end you have a complete system, not just a collection of tips.

We run workshops across the region. Our Macedon Ranges program is delivered in partnership with MRFEC (Macedon Ranges Further Education Centre) at their Gisborne venue. We have also partnered with Sunbury Business Association to deliver workshops at Hume Global Learning Centre in Sunbury. Private sessions can be held at your business premises or arranged via video call.

Our Macedon Ranges group programs run at $100 per person (standard) or $50 concession through the ACFE subsidy via MRFEC. No. The program is designed specifically for small business owners who want to get their head around social media, regardless of where they are starting from. Matt is an experienced facilitator who makes sure everyone leaves each session with something they can actually use.
Yes. Private workshops are tailored to your business, your platforms and your goals. They usually run across two half-day sessions, giving you the focused time and individual attention to make real progress. Available for businesses, teams and community organisations across the Macedon Ranges, Sunbury and Central Victoria.

Working With KGMG
Straightforward, collaborative and genuinely hands-on. You deal directly with the people doing the work, not an account manager who briefs someone else. We take the time to understand your business before we start anything, and we stay in regular contact throughout. A lot of our clients have been with us for years, which we think says something about how we work.
Yes. We are not a build-it-and-disappear agency. Most of our clients work with us on an ongoing basis: monthly social media management, regular photography, website updates, reporting or just being available when something comes up. We invest in long-term relationships, not one-off transactions.
Everything is done in-house. Web design, branding, photography, videography, social media, copywriting and graphic design are all handled by our own team of five specialists. We do not outsource to contractors or offshore providers. That means the quality is consistent, the communication is direct and the work genuinely reflects your brand.
We hear this more than you might think. The most common complaints we hear are: the agency didn't understand regional business, someone junior was doing the actual work, communication fell away after the contract was signed, and the work didn't reflect the promises made in the pitch. We are a small, senior team. Kelly and Matt are hands-on in every project. We are local. And we would rather have an honest conversation about what is and is not the right fit than overpromise and underdeliver.

That depends on the service. Social media management is typically structured as a monthly program with a minimum commitment period so we can actually deliver results. Project-based work like websites and branding is scoped and priced individually. We are always upfront about what is involved before anything is agreed. No surprises.
