When it comes to the complex world of websites and digital marketing, we're passionate about supporting and educating as many people as possible.
We've partnered with the Macedon Ranges Shire Council and the Macedon Ranges Further Education Centre (MRFEC) to offer a series of ACFE-acredited workshops and short courses that dive into the fundamentals of social media and website design.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
4 x 2 hour sessions
We have developed a series of Social Media Workshops designed specifically for local business owners and operators in the Macedon Ranges. Our aim is to empower YOU to maximise the potential of your social media platforms without the need to outsource a thing!
Over four interactive sessions, we dive into fundamental tasks and strategies that we employ every day (so you know they’ve been tried and tested countless times across a wide range of industries!). These small and interactive workshops are perfect for businesses that may not have the budget to outsource their social media department, or perhaps already have capable and creative staff members that just need a set of solid systems and strategies to follow.
In 4 x 2hr workshops we cover:
o Week 1: Content creation strategy (visual and written)
o Week 2: Post planning, scheduling & platform management
o Week 3: Community/Follower engagement & troubleshooting
o Week 4: Reporting, insights & digital mail out strategy
BUILD & OPTIMISE YOUR OWN WEBSITE
3 x 3 hour sessions
Learn to build and optimise your own website using the WIX platform and kickstart your Google Presence via SEO and content optimisation. This course is perfect for new start-ups, NFPs, organisations, individuals or business owners wanting to build a professional and high-functioning website on a budget.
In this hands-on course, you will learn the fundamentals of Website Design and Google Optimisation (SEO).
This extensive workshop will cover everything you need to get your digital presence up and running. No previous website experience is necessary and will suit all types of industries and business models, and those looking to up skill in the web design arena. Practical, hands on training and troubleshooting will be supplied.
This course is held over 3 x 3-hour sessions and is suited to small business owners, groups or organisations wanting to build, launch and manage their own website with ease.
This course is open to ALL design abilities. Basic computer skills are required.
Please note this course utilises the WIX platform, and students will be shown how to build and design using this platform only.
