Celebrating Our Journey: KGMG’s Award-Winning Path

Winning an award is a good feeling. Winning the same award twice is something else entirely.

At the 2024 Josh's Rainbow Eggs Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards, KGMG Creative took home Excellence in Professional Services for the second time. We were finalists in 2021, winners in 2022 when the awards became biannual, and winners again in 2024. That consistent recognition means more to us than any single night of celebration.

What this recognition actually represents?

The Macedon Ranges Business Excellence Awards are judged by the community, for the community.

Winning them twice is not just a reflection of the work KGMG Creative produces. It is a reflection of the relationships the business has built across the Macedon Ranges over nearly a decade.

We started KGMG Creative because we believe regional businesses deserve the same quality of creative and digital work that city businesses take for granted. Eight years and more than 500 websites later, that belief has not changed. Neither has the commitment to being genuinely hands-on, locally present and invested in the success of every client.

That is what these awards recognise. Not just the output, but the approach.

The team behind the work.

An award like this belongs to the whole team. Kelly leads every web build, strategy session and client creative direction. Matt heads the social media department, runs consistently sold-out workshops within the region and handles all written content and site mapping. Nic brings the visual storytelling through photography and videography. Chris brings senior-level brand and graphic design expertise. Casey supports across web content, design and builds.

Together, they are the reason KGMG Creative can offer the full range of services it does, all under one roof, all produced in-house, all delivered with the kind of hands-on local service that a city agency simply cannot match.

Nights like the Business Excellence Awards are a reminder of why being a regional business matters. The room is full of people who have backed themselves, built something real and shown up for their community year after year. Being recognised alongside businesses like that, by the community we are proud to be part of, means a great deal to everyone at KGMG Creative.
