Leaving the grind behind.

How KGMG empowered me.

One of the most liberating, yet terrifying moments of my life was diving head first into the professional unknown.

Leaving a highly paid GM position without a solid plan, or a new job, could seem foolish to some, but 100% of my being knew that without taking this step I could never truly move forward!

In a period of 24 months I had spent almost half of them in far-away lands. Red eye flights and the familiar humidity and dust of Asia had taken their toll… and whilst it was easy to be seduced by the long nights spent with people (who had become like family), laughing, singing, listening to Hindu mantras being chanted in the distance… I felt the pressure of corporate expectation, performance and the inability to make decisions that left me inspired and empowered. I wanted to do more, not only to support the communities I worked with, but to help people from all walks of life.

I felt misaligned with the world I had created.

I worked 7 days a week, I condoned a business ethos I didn't believe in. I was miserable.

Reflecting on what I needed to rediscover my motivation, I knew I had to make a change… I wanted to inspire and empower others, not just professionally, but personally.

KGMG was born. It was born with an intent to be different to other “consultants”, to build a community that truly helps others achieve and realise their dreams… it was (and is) never about money, status or watching the clock.

Working alongside owners and operators of every shape and size has not only inspired me, but has taught me to adapt and embrace every situation (good or bad)… we all have our own unique story.

Over 1 year on, I am grateful every day to work and live my passion and watch as the KGMG community grows with me!

Working to up skill and support disadvantaged families in remote India has been one of my proudest achievements.
