Having watched and assisted her parents prepare delicious Sri Lankan feasts for special occasions and festivals, she dreamt from a young age that she would work in an environment surrounded by tantalizing aromas and flavours all day long!
Moving to Australia, Ashini studied at AAPoly and worked for Melbourne's iconic @youngandjackson Hotel as a cook 🔪
After graduating, her love for Southeast Asian food lead the way to Fook Shing as she took on the position of commis chef.
Ashini is always excited to take on new challenges in the kitchen and is all about experiencing new and exciting adventures outside of it!
